Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Natsu Dragneel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 3 - 2, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Natsu Dragneel!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dennis Page!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragneel misses with a few strikes there.
Dragneel throws a leg kick but Page checks it.
Page lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Dragneel misses with an attempted mid kick.
Dragneel throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Page doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Dragneel fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Page.
Dragneel has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Furia Top Team in the buildup to the fight.
Dragneel throws a front kick that sends Page stumbling back into the cage.
Page throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Page walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Dragneel checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Page tries a quick counter leg kick but Dragneel is wise to it.
Page fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dragneel manages to avoid it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Natsu Dragneel has been cut.

Natsu Dragneel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Page throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Dragneel takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Dragneel throws a front kick aimed at Page's knee but Page avoids it well.
Page unleashes a big counter combination but Dragneel bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Dragneel moves out of range of the strikes.
Page steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dragneel.
Page fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dragneel has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Page lands a big head kick that sends Dragneel tumbling to the mat! Page takes a step backwards and waves Dragneel back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Page will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Page takes a swing at Dragneel's ribcage but misses.
Page checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Page takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Dragneel lands a nice shot to the body.
Dragneel connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Page momentarily.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Dragneel takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Dragneel throws the left hand but Page avoids the punch easily.

It appears Dragneel was looking to counter with a kick there.

Dragneel sizes up Page with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Page fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Dragneel is out of range.
Page takes one on the chin but seems OK.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dragneel buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Dragneel dips to his left and cracks Page with an uppercut!
Dragneel throws a leg kick that is checked
and Page counters with a body kick that stops Dragneel in his tracks momentarily.
Page has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Page avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Dragneel lands a jab to Page's midsection.
A big right from Dragneel misses.
A nice side step and Page releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Page darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Page lands a left and a right that send Dragneel crashing to the mat, dazed. Page thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Page throws a body shot but no joy.
Oh Dragneel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Page throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dragneel stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Page's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Page takes one to the side of the head.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Page.
Dragneel lands with a thumping leg kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Page crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Dragneel - the referee stops the clock and Page gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Dragneel. Page manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Dragneel might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Dennis Page showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dragneel walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Page in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
Page fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dragneel looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Dragneel will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Dragneel loads up on a big right hand but Page slips the punch.

Page lands a right hook to the body.
Page cracks Dragneel with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
and Page counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Dragneel! He's just covering up as Page starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dennis Page!
