Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Todd Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Kean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandon Kean has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilkins scores a takedown into full mount!
Kean is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Wilkins moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kean has worked his arm free - good work by Kean!

Wilkins is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kean is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Wilkins is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kean has escaped the position, nice work there.

Wilkins goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Kean rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Wilkins's guard! Nice work there by Kean!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Wilkins looking for subs off his back but Kean has passed one foot through into half guard.
Kean tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Wilkins makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Wilkins.
Wilkins controls Kean momentarily but Kean frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kean stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wilkins swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kean wants to get up but he can't break Wilkins's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Wilkins working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kean doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kean manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kean stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wilkins swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wilkins not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Kean wants to clinch up but Wilkins keeps it at a distance.

Wilkins can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kean is looking to escape.

Kean is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Wilkins locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Kean is forced to tap!
