Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Diesel Hendrix!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Philip Gunines!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendrix fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gunines looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Gunines throws a sloppy head kick and Hendrix moves out of range easily.
Gunines's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hendrix connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Gunines scrambles back to his feet.
Hendrix lands a really nice looking cross but Gunines seems unphased.
Gunines is rocked!
Hendrix cracks Gunines with a left hook right on the temple and Gunines goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Hendrix lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Gunines is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Diesel Hendrix!
