Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bolek Nowak!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tillman avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nowak throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tillman counters with a two punch combo.
Nowak tries to sprawl but Tillman drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Tillman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Tillman not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Nowak looks like he's trying to stand up.
Tillman is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Nowak sees it coming and defends easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tillman postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Nowak to stand up.
Nowak throws a nice looking combination but Tillman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tillman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Good work by Tillman as he checks the leg kick.

Tillman decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Nowak scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Tillman manages to mount him!
Tillman working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Nowak looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Tillman! Submission of the night perhaps?
