The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pichushkin motions for Simpson to come forward. Pichushkin throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Simpson tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Pichushkin manages to circle out of the way.

Simpson has Pichushkin pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Simpson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Pichushkin tumbling to the mat - Simpson dives into Pichushkin's guard.
