Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Oscar Avila!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Keiran Corkhill!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Eddie Farnsworth and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corkhill shoots and misses
and Avila counters with a one-two to the body.
Corkhill misses with a takedown
and Corkhill takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
No luck for Corkhill with that takedown attempt.
It looked like Avila was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Oscar Avila has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keiran Corkhill.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Corkhill shoots in for a double leg but Avila sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Corkhill throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Avila tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Corkhill is in Avila's guard.
Corkhill wants to control from the top but Avila keeps moving.

Corkhill has gone for a leg lock! Avila slips out almost immediately though and dives into Corkhill's guard.
Avila wanted to stand there but Corkhill had control of the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Corkhill looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Corkhill working for a triangle but Avila defends it easily.

Corkhill has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Avila should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Corkhill has tightened it up now! Avila should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
