Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Charles RIck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ori Fanta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fanta gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Fanta looking to hit a scissor sweep but RIck is one step ahead there.

RIck is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Fanta is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Fanta has escaped and now he's on top!

RIck is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

RIck working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fanta doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fanta manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

RIck has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Fanta is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for RIck.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

RIck is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
