Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Karlsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alejandro Sepulveda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karlsson's entrance music is Top Dogz. A fine choice. Sepulveda has chosen Xibalba - Madre Mia as his entrance music. Alejandro Sepulveda will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alejandro Sepulveda!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sepulveda throws a nice looking combination but Karlsson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sepulveda scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Sepulveda misses with a series of wild punches.
Sepulveda moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Sepulveda throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Karlsson.
Karlsson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Sepulveda scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sepulveda is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Karlsson pulls his head out easily.

Karlsson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Karlsson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sepulveda with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Karlsson content to control rather than advance.

Sepulveda is looking to escape.

Sepulveda tries to roll over but Karlsson keeps him under control.
Karlsson is pressing down on Sepulveda's thigh, looking to free his foot. Sepulveda is holding on for now.
Karlsson looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Karlsson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Karlsson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Karlsson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Karlsson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sepulveda has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Karlsson has managed to get both his arms back between Sepulveda's legs - danger averted.
Karlsson passes Sepulveda's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Karlsson is taking a breather. Sepulveda says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Karlsson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Karlsson is looking for a kimura but Sepulveda is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Karlsson to get the leverage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sepulveda is rocked!

Sepulveda looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Karlsson pushes past his half guard into mount!
Sepulveda is still in real trouble! Can Karlsson finish him?

Karlsson looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Karlsson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Sepulveda can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Karlsson postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Sepulveda out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Karlsson goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Magnus Karlsson!
Magnus Karlsson decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
