Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Xathras Choate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Haigh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Choate comes to the cage accompanied by Dog the Nine. Haigh has chosen Prayer of the Refugee by Rise Against as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Choate avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Haigh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Xathras Choate dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Choate dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Haigh. That did some damage!

A relieved looking Xathras Choate thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
John Haigh was interviewed post fight and said 'Maybe it is time for me to make the move to another weight class.'.
