Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kamil Mokujin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mati Kingston! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mokujin scores with a takedown into Kingston's guard. Kingston looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Mokujin preventing the sweep. Kingston has his foot on Mokujin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mokujin works his way back into a safe position though. Mokujin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kingston throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Mokujin escapes and throws Kingston's legs to the side, diving into side control! Kingston looks winded! Mokujin is looking to take a break and control but Kingston is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mokujin tries to advance to mount but can't. Kingston looks to move to half guard but instead Mokujin has passed into mount! Damn!
That's one minute gone in the round. Mokujin wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Kingston is in all sorts of trouble here.
Mokujin avoids the attempt from Kingston to control. Mokujin thowing shots but they're missing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mokujin throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Kingston because Mokujin loaded up on that one. Kingston is squirming around, avoiding Mokujin's attempts to control the action. Mokujin throwing strikes here but Kingston is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Kingston is in all sorts of trouble here.
Kingston really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mokujin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kingston is not content to let Mokujin control the position. Kingston isn't going anywhere. Mokujin wants to stand but Kingston has his arm trapped. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kingston is looking to reverse the position. Kingston trying his best to control but Mokujin has mounted him. Kingston tries to get back to half guard but can't. Mokujin looking to control but Kingston is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Kingston is trying desperately to improve position. Mokujin wants to control the pace but Kingston is squirming around nicely. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mokujin has hold of Kingston's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kingston manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Mokujin is looking to take a break and control but Kingston is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Let's see what he can do from the top position. Kingston keeping moving, preventing Mokujin from controlling successfully. Kingston is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Mokujin wants to control from the top but Kingston keeps moving.

Kamil Mokujin dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Mokujin is looking to control Kingston's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mokujin avoid being mounted? Kamil Mokujin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Mokujin looking for submissions off his back. Kingston is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mokujin is just riding it out for now. Kingston eventually gives up the hold.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kingston sitting and controlling from the half guard. Kingston is continuing to stall. The adventures of Kingston the control monster continue. Boring.

Mokujin wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Mati Kingston has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kingston in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
And that's the end of the fight! Mati Kingston comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Mokujin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
