Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Isreal Mayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Barett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Isreal Mayer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Stephen Barett! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mayer scores with a push kick. Mayer leaves Barett with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Barett jabs at Mayer's body. Mayer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Barett sprawls well. Barett wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mayer gets slowly back to his feet. Barett throws a predictable looking body shot
and Mayer counters with a single leg into guard. Barett didn't expect that. Barett is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barett keeping moving, preventing Mayer from controlling successfully. Barett has Mayer pulled in close to control his posture.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Barett has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Mayer has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Barett pulls guard. Mayer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Barett seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Barett tries to land a sweep but no joy. Mayer is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Mayer trying to control but Barett is working from the bottom.

Mayer is stalling in the full guard.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Barett gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Mayer counters by clinching up. Barett being controlled against the cage. Barett doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Barett looking for a takedown. Isreal Mayer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stephen Barett.
Barett drags the fight down to the ground.

 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mayer tries to keep at a distance but Barett has taken the fight into the clinch. The referee calls for Mayer to work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stephen Barett dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Barett tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mayer swivels and escapes. Mayer looks for a takedown but Barett sprawls well. A countering left hand to the body from Barett misses.
Barett rushes Mayer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Mayer taking a breather. Mayer tries to pull guard but Barett forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Barett successfully pulls guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mayer has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Barett to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mayer is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Barett pulls down on the head and he's put Mayer to sleep! This one is all over!
