Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Herschel Dyer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Dilaxo! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dyer shoots in but no luck this time. A right-left combo lands from Dilaxo. Dilaxo stalks Dyer and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dyer's face. Dyer staggers backwards, shaken. Dilaxo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dilaxo wants it to stay on the feet. Dilaxo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Dyer is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Dilaxo to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Herschel Dyer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dyer gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dilaxo has his hands on Dyer's head, controlling the position. Dyer could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Dyer is looking to work some ground and pound but Dilaxo has wrist control. Dyer stands up from guard. Let's bang! Dilaxo looks to land a combination. Dyer sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Herschel Dyer has been cut. A nice combination there by Dilaxo.
Dilaxo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dyer circles away quickly and effectively.

Danga de danga de dang - Dilaxo scores with a four punch combination! Dilaxo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dilaxo lands with a shot to the body. Dilaxo rushes Dyer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Dilaxo jumps into guard, dragging Dyer to the mat.
Dilaxo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Dyer stays in close to Dilaxo's body and controls the position. Dyer trying to control the position from guard on top but Dilaxo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dyer throws a big elbow that misses. Dilaxo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dyer controls the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dyer postures up in Dilaxo's guard and throws a big left but Dilaxo blocks it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dyer working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dyer trying to control the position from guard on top but Dilaxo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dilaxo moves into the clinch. Dilaxo is trying to break free. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Dyer just leaning against Dilaxo, taking a breather. Dyer tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dilaxo smiles and moves away.
Dilaxo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dyer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dilaxo throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Dyer throws a counter high kick but Dilaxo was just alert enough to avoid it. Dilaxo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A left and a right from Dilaxo both land. Nice combination. Dilaxo throws a series of punches but Dyer moves out of range. Dilaxo misses with a few strikes there.
Dyer shoots in for a takedown but Dilaxo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Dilaxo tests Dyer's chin there with a solid looking shot. Sloppy strikes from Dilaxo. Those never looked like landing. Dilaxo swinging wildly here.
Dilaxo throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
We've been informed that Dilaxo has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dyer slips a jab and a cross from Dilaxo.
Dilaxo looks winded! Dyer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Dilaxo swinging wildly here.
Dyer looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Jake Dilaxo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No joy there for Dilaxo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dilaxo scores with a sloppy right hand. Dyer should have avoided that one. Dyer dodges the punch combination from Dilaxo.
Dyer fails to land the takedown. Dilaxo moves into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Dilaxo dominated that round. The cut man is working on Herschel Dyer's cut. That's time! Dyer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A right-left combo lands from Dilaxo. Dilaxo lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Danga de danga de dang - Dilaxo scores with a four punch combination! Jake Dilaxo seems to be getting the better of the standup. Dilaxo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Dyer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dilaxo but Dilaxo pushes him off and we're back to square one. Dilaxo has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Dyer misses with a takedown attempt - Dilaxo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Dilaxo!
Dyer is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Dilaxo connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Dyer tumbling to the canvas! Dilaxo pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Dyer was done - good stoppage!
