The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madeira bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Harwood striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Madeira in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Madeira avoids the strikes from the bottom by Harwood.
Madeira tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Madeira has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A punch lands to the side of Madeira 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Madeira has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Harwood dances in with a quick combination. Madeira is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Harwood snaps Madeira's head back. Madeira stumbles backwards against the cage. Harwood steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Madeira's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Madeira just didn't come prepared.
