Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Hyde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brodie Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams has chosen Back To Back as his entrance music. Max Hyde has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Max Hyde! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brodie Williams! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams rushes Hyde and presses him up against the cage. Williams lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Williams looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Williams slows the pace down in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hyde is looking for a sweep. Williams is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hyde is pressing down on Williams's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Williams makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Hyde trying to keep a closed guard but Williams is proving a slippery customer.
Hyde really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Williams trying to stand up but can't free himself from Hyde's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hyde looking to control.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Hyde gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Williams slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Hyde tries to improve position but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hyde's shoulder. That is not cool. Hyde tries to buck Williams off but Williams is having none of it. Williams is staying tight to Hyde's torso, preventing him from escaping.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Williams lands a decent elbow from side control. Williams working away. Williams controls the position from side control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brodie Williams dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Williams closes the distance and pushes Hyde back into the cage. Hyde is looking for a takedown. Hyde manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Hyde tries to score a body lock takedown but Williams shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Hyde is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Williams pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Hyde. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Williams has Hyde pushed against the cage. Hyde is looking to break free of the clinch but Williams has double underhooks. Hyde is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Williams is defending well.

Brodie Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williams clinches with his opponent.
Hyde jumps guard but Williams turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Hyde is looking for a takedown. Williams is pressed up against the cage. Hyde has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Williams down to the mat. Williams avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hyde showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Williams.
Williams stuffs the takedown attempt from Hyde. Hyde gets slowly back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams forces Hyde back against the cage and clinches. Williams gets control of Hyde's arms and successfully pulls guard. Williams will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Williams is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hyde is controlling him. Hyde decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Williams, up you get! That kick from Williams tenderised Hyde's leg. Hyde is trying to keep his angry face on. Williams gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hyde letting Williams take a breather here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hyde goes for a takedown in the clinch but Williams prevents it.
Hyde escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Williams closes the distance and clinches. Williams prevents the takedown attempt.
Williams has hold of one of Hyde's legs. Hyde is fighting the takedown attempt but Williams gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Williams engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Williams's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brodie Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Williams clinches up with Hyde and pushes him back against the cage. Hyde is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Williams works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Hyde has a closed guard, preventing Williams from standing up. Williams stands up over Hyde, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Williams seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. More stalling from Williams.

Williams is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Hyde. Williams throws a series of punches but Hyde moves out of range. Williams closes the distance and pushes Hyde back into the cage. Hyde works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hyde wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving. Williams is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Hyde drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Williams dives on top into guard. Hyde tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Williams lands a couple of elbows. Williams is stalling in the full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Max Hyde has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Brodie Williams is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Hyde doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Brodie Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Williams has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
