Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Muse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chem Spaletti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Muse is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chem Spaletti!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Spaletti checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Muse throws a low kick but Spaletti avoids it.
Muse connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A shot to the body from Muse misses
and Spaletti counters with a nice double leg into side control. Muse won't be happy with that.
Muse manages to work his way to half guard, despite Spaletti's best efforts.
Spaletti is working for a kimura but Muse is defending it quite comfortably.
Spaletti is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Muse sees it coming and defends easily.
Muse really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Spaletti is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Muse is just riding it out for now. Spaletti eventually gives up the hold.
Spaletti stops Muse from getting back to his feet.

Muse tries to kick Spaletti off but Spaletti keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Spaletti is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Muse has managed to free his arm - good work.
Spaletti seems to be working for a kimura but Muse defends the submission attempt.

Spaletti is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Spaletti is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Muse is just riding it out for now. Spaletti eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Muse is looking for a sweep. Spaletti is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Spaletti is trying to work for a kimura but Muse is defending well.

Spaletti wants to free his trapped foot but Muse is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Muse tries to roll over but Spaletti keeps him under control.
Muse makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Spaletti takes a jab right on the kisser.
Spaletti takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Muse throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Spaletti changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Muse scores with a hook to the body. Spaletti takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A combination from Muse does no damage.
Muse tries a head kick but it misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Muse goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Muse tries to work over Spaletti's front leg with a kick but Spaletti checks it.
Muse walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Spaletti checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Mike Muse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Muse fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Spaletti has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Muse throws a head kick that misses.
Muse misses with a body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Muse dominated that round.
That's time! Muse's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Muse swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Muse pivots, looking for a leg kick but Spaletti is out of range and Muse settles back down.
Spaletti avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Spaletti tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Muse throws a jab when Spaletti was well out of range.
Muse throws a push kick but Spaletti slaps the foot to one side.
Spaletti with the counter takedown but Muse avoids it easily.
Mike Muse is winning the standup battle so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Muse scores with a hook.
Muse throws a body punch but Spaletti moves out of range.
Spaletti takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Spaletti takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Muse misses with an uppercut. Spaletti saw that one coming.
Spaletti tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Muse connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Muse throws out a leg kick but Spaletti moves out of range and Muse only half commits.
Spaletti feints the counter takedown.
Muse is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
A slapping body kick lands there for Muse.
Spaletti gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Muse lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Spaletti has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Spaletti and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Spaletti drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Muse defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Muse throws a leg kick
and Spaletti counters with a single leg into guard. Muse didn't expect that.
Spaletti drops back looking for a leg! Muse is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Muse manages to kick Spaletti off! Spaletti jumps back into Muse's guard.
Muse tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Muse manages to escape and get back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Muse lands a jab to the nose.
Muse scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Muse throws a front kick aimed at Spaletti's knee but Spaletti avoids it well.
Spaletti with the counter takedown but Muse avoids it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Muse gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Spaletti counters with a nice double leg into side control. Muse won't be happy with that.
Spaletti is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Muse is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Spaletti is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Muse looks calm but he's in trouble here. Spaletti gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Muse is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Spaletti lets go of the hold and Muse can pop his arm back in it's socket.
