France is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by bring me to life. Natsu Dragneel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darwin France!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
France waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dragneel.
Dragneel throws a quick counter head kick but France was just out of range.
France looks for a takedown but Dragneel sprawls well.
France misses with the combination.
Dragneel ducks under a wild hook from France.
Nice uppercut lands for France. That snapped Dragneel's head back.
Dragneel looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
France throws a body shot but no joy.
France tries a head kick but it misses.
France swats away the attempt to clinch by Dragneel.
France changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

That was a close second round but I would say that Natsu Dragneel will probably get the nod.

Dragneel got a little sloppy there for a moment and France has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dragneel has managed to get both his arms back between France's legs - danger averted.
Dragneel seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

France has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Dragneel is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for France.
