Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cory Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denard Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel comes to the cage accompanied by Immortal Technique-Point of no return. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Roberts and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black throws a right hand that Steel ducks under and follows up with a left that Steel also avoids with ease.
Steel was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Black scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Black showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Steel.
Black ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Steel throws a right hand that Black ducks under and follows up with a left that Black also avoids with ease.
Black throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Black sizes up Steel with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Steel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Black looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Steel definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Black feints a jab promting Steel to slip. Black then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Steel slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Steel misses with a left hand
and Black counters with a right hand to the body.
Steel throws an overhand right that lands on Black's shoulder, as Black tries to avoid the shot.
Black throws a head kick that misses.
Black lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Steel looks to score with a jab to the body but Black is just out of range.
Black fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Steel looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Black ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Steel moves away.
Steel takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Steel misses with a series of wild punches.
Black thuds a left hand into Steel's body.
Black ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Steel misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Black.
Steel takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Black bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Steel's head backwards.
Steel swings widly with a right hand
and Black counters with a left to the body.
A combination from Black does no damage.
Black cracks a nice hook into Steel's ribs.
Steel misses with a jab, cross combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Steel gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Black has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Steel is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Steel digs a good hook to Black's body.
Steel looks to score with a jab to the body but Black is just out of range.
Steel has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Black looks for the body kick but Steel saw that one coming.
Steel appears to be looking for a big counter.
A telegraphed right hand from Steel misses the target.
Black tries a head kick but it misses.
Black throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

and Steel takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Black throws a shot to the body.
Steel takes one to the chin there.
Steel throws a hook but Black avoids it easily.
Black misses with a jab, cross combination.
Steel throws a right and a left that Black avoids nicely.

Steel avoids a punch combination nicely.
No joy there for Steel, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Steel lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Steel misses with a straight left.
Black defending well as Steel loads up on a big left hand.
Black tries to bum rush Steel with a series of wild strikes but Steel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Black is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Steel had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Steel cracks Black with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Steel stuns Black with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Black misses with a two punch combination.
Steel looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A head kick from Black lands but Steel takes it in his stride.
Steel misses with a wild body shot.
Steel takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Black bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Black walks into a straight right hand from Steel.
Steel scores with a jab to the head.
Black lands a jab to Steel's midsection.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Black throws a body kick that misses.
Steel tries to bum rush Black with a series of wild strikes but Black uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Black.
Black throws a front kick that sends Steel stumbling back into the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Denard Black dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Steel swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Black counters with a good, hard body kick but Steel shrugs it off.
Steel throws a right and a left that Black avoids nicely.
Black has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Steel walks into a left hand.
Steel looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Steel rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Black counters with a nice uppercut.
Steel throws a sloppy body shot
and Steel takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Black lands a leg kick that knocks Steel off balance momentarily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Steel takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Cory Steel is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Black fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Steel on the side of the head.

Steel falls off balance throwing a combination
and Black counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Steel is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Steel misses with a double jab.
Black rushes Steel with punches - Steel moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Steel goes down! Black follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
