The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira misses with a takedown attempt - Ferrari sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ferrari lands with a thumping leg kick.
Pereira doesn't manage to clinch there - Ferrari circles away.
Horrible takedown by Pereira or perhaps it was just good defense by Ferrari which made him look bad.

Pereira changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ferrari tries to avoid it but Pereira manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ferrari to the ground. Ferrari escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Pereira throws a nice looking combination but Ferrari bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Guga Pereira has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Marcus Ferrari is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well Ferrari has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
