Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dang Sai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh Janus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Janus is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bodyjar - Not The Same. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hugh Janus! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Janus shoots for a double leg takedown but Sai sprawls well. He's pushed Janus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Sai gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Nice elbow from Sai. Sai lands a nice elbow. Sai blocks an elbow strike from Janus.
Sai creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Sai creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Janus's defenses. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Sai as Janus tries to tie him up. Sai looks to throw an elbow but misses. Sai really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Janus is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Sai is defending well. That's going to take a lot out of Hugh Janus. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Sai just misses with a elbow thrown towards Janus's brow. Sai would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Janus seems to have recovered his senses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Janus bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sai's guard. Janus trying to control but Sai is working from the bottom. Sai looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Sai is trying to control the position but Janus postures up.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sai tries to get out of the position. Janus is trying to get an arm triangle but Sai is defending well. That's four minutes gone in the round. Janus advances to mount. Sai is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Janus is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Janus!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Hugh Janus! Hugh Janus decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
