Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shayne Castaneda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Deutsch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shayne Castaneda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bryan Deutsch! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Deutsch moves into range and clinches up with Castaneda. Castaneda pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Castaneda fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Deutsch, pushing him back against the cage. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Castaneda wants to stall.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Castaneda fails to pull the fight into his guard.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Castaneda tries to pull guard but Deutsch won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Castaneda is trying to break the clinch but Deutsch is controlling him. Deutsch trying to land knees to the body.
Castaneda wants to stall.
Castaneda is trying to pull guard but Deutsch has him pressed against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shayne Castaneda. That's going to take a lot out of him. Deutsch stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round. Deutsch ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Deutsch no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Castaneda decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Deutsch, up you get! Deutsch rushes Castaneda and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Deutsch is trying to break the clinch but Castaneda is controlling him. Deutsch tightens his grip and picks Castaneda up, before dumping him to the ground. Castaneda manages to land in guard. Castaneda is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Deutsch dives into side control.
Castaneda might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Castaneda is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Deutsch is controlling him well. Castaneda wants to control but Deutsch postures up. You can see the frustration on Castaneda's face as Deutsch controls the position. Castaneda is trying to escape and get back to his feet. That's two minutes gone in the round. Deutsch is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Castaneda has escaped the position, nice work there. Castaneda is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Deutsch is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Deutsch looking to control and managing it successfully. Deutsch throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. This has been an exciting period of action! Castaneda is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Deutsch controlling from the full mount. Deutsch is landing with some decent strikes but Castaneda is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Deutsch takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Deutsch throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Deutsch throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Deutsch wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Castaneda tries to hold on but Deutsch postures up. Deutsch jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Castaneda manages to avoid the submission attempt. Deutsch moves into full mount! Deutsch goes for an armbar but Castaneda turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Castaneda.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Deutsch throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Deutsch is pulling down on Castaneda's head. It's preventing any offense from Castaneda, at least for the moment. Deutsch has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Deutsch throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Deutsch will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Deutsch is looking for a triangle but Castaneda pushes his legs off easily.

Bryan Deutsch dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Deutsch rushes Castaneda and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Deutsch is trying to break the clinch but Castaneda has him pressed against the cage. Castaneda could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Deutsch ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Deutsch no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Deutsch looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Castaneda trying to stand up but can't free himself from Deutsch's guard. Deutsch is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Castaneda wants to stand and escape but instead Deutsch has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Deutsch seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Castaneda pushes Deutsch off and scrambles back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Deutsch moves into range and clinches up with Castaneda. A quick uppercut on the inside from Deutsch. Deutsch gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Castaneda kicks off Deutsch and gets to his feet. Castaneda takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Castaneda shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Deutsch manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Deutsch pushes Castaneda off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Bryan Deutsch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Castaneda moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Deutsch attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Deutsch shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Castaneda napping and manages to drive through into side control! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Castaneda is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Deutsch is controlling him well. Castaneda is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Deutsch is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Deutsch trying to control but he's not successful this time. Castaneda wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Deutsch tries to get the hooks in deep but Castaneda pushed the leg off. Deutsch is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Castaneda knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Castaneda for a finish. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Deutsch punches Castaneda on the ear. Deutsch looking to break Castaneda's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Castaneda remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Deutsch will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Deutsch somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Deutsch controlling the position well here. Castaneda rolled but Deutsch kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Castaneda can't escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Deutsch patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Deutsch is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Castaneda wants to get back to his feet. Castaneda is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Bryan Deutsch showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Horrible takedown attempt by Castaneda or perhaps it was just good defense by Deutsch, which made it look bad. Deutsch gets a double leg takedown into Castaneda's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Castaneda throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Deutsch escapes and throws Castaneda's legs to the side, diving into side control! Deutsch thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Castaneda is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Castaneda is trying to get back to his feet. A lull in the action here. Deutsch working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. An elbow from Deutsch crashes against the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Deutsch stands up. Deutsch shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Castaneda manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Deutsch controls from within his opponent's guard. Deutsch works a leg free and moves into half guard. Castaneda blocking the ground and pound attempt from Deutsch. Deutsch perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Castaneda wants to get back to his feet. Deutsch is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Castaneda sees it coming and defends easily. Deutsch slows the pace down in half guard. Let's hope that Deutsch has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Bryan Deutsch has got the better of the ground game so far. Deutsch works his way into side control. Castaneda manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Castaneda is defending against the submission attempts here by Deutsch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Castaneda is trying to stand back up but Deutsch is controlling him

Deutsch's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Shayne Castaneda has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bryan Deutsch is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Deutsch not landing any meaningful shots this time.
And that's the end of the fight! Bryan Deutsch comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Deutsch has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
