Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shayne Castaneda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Deutsch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deutsch moves into range and clinches up with Castaneda.
Castaneda pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Castaneda fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Deutsch, pushing him back against the cage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Castaneda wants to stall.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Castaneda fails to pull the fight into his guard.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Castaneda tries to pull guard but Deutsch won't allow it.

Deutsch is pulling down on Castaneda's head. It's preventing any offense from Castaneda, at least for the moment.
Deutsch has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Castaneda takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Castaneda shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Deutsch manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Deutsch pushes Castaneda off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Bryan Deutsch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Castaneda moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Deutsch attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Deutsch shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Castaneda napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Castaneda is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Deutsch is controlling him well.

Deutsch is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Castaneda knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Castaneda for a finish.

Horrible takedown attempt by Castaneda or perhaps it was just good defense by Deutsch, which made it look bad.

Deutsch is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Castaneda sees it coming and defends easily.

Let's hope that Deutsch has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well Deutsch has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
