Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Salwa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clinton Hessler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clinton Hessler told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salwa loads up on a big right hand but Hessler slips the punch.
We've been told by Salwa's head coaches at Datsik's Dojo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Hessler fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Salwa looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Hessler throws a push kick but Salwa slaps the foot to one side.
Hessler tries to keep at a distance but Salwa has taken the fight into the clinch.
Hessler tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Salwa's elbow.

Hessler's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
