The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plouman circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Plouman as he jumps to the side.
Gracie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Gracie looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Gracie closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gracie lands in his opponent's guard.
Plouman working a defensive guard but Gracie passes into half guard.
Gracie is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Gracie lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Plouman hang on?
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Plouman can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Plouman is rocked!
Gracie drops a big elbow. That's hurt Plouman! More shots from Gracie and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
