The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Safronov tries to clinch but Carmine moves out of range.

Safronov moves into range and clinches up with Carmine.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Carmine wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Safronov working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Safronov lands a left hand that snaps the head of Carmine backwards.
Safronov prevents Carmine from breaking the clinch.
Carmine is trying to break free.
Safronov lands an uppercut.
Safronov lands a right hand that snaps the head of Carmine backwards.
Carmine tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Safronov creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Safronov is pressed up against the cage. Carmine has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Safronov down to the mat. Safronov avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Safronov fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Carmine, pushing him back against the cage.

Safronov digs a right hand into Carmine's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Carmine's gas tank.
Still in the clinch, Safronov scores with a nice short uppercut.

Safronov throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Carmines head.
Carmine is still on wobbly legs! Can Safronov finish him?
Safronov creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Carmine's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Carmine drops to his knees and Safronov pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
