The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Padilla manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kingston on his heels. He'll look to pass Kingston's guard now, I'm sure.
Kingston has his feet on Padilla's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Padilla gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Kingston postures up.

Padilla has momentary wrist control but Kingston slips an elbow through the middle.
