Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Guandalini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chucky Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guandalini comes to the cage accompanied by Linkin Park - Faint. The key to victory for Miguel Guandalini has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Miguel Guandalini! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chucky Reyes! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reyes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Guandalini looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Guandalini is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Reyes is controlling him well. Reyes wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Guandalini, who protects the arm well. You can see the frustration on Guandalini's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Guandalini is looking for a sweep. Guandalini wants to control but Reyes postures up. Guandalini tries to escape but Reyes is in control. Reyes decides to stand back up. Reyes steps back and let's Guandalini get back to his feet. Guandalini tries to close the distance and clinch but Reyes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. The fight stays on the outside here - Guandalini looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Guandalini lands a jab-cross combination. Reyes looks gassed! Guandalini fails with an attempt to clinch.
Guandalini clinches up with Reyes and pushes him back against the cage. Guandalini keeps control of Reyes as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reyes jumps guard but Guandalini stands there with Reyes around his waist. Reyes gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Guandalini tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Reyes smiles and moves away.
Reyes feints and as Guandalini raises his hands in defense, Reyes changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Guandalini throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Guandalini wants to sweep here but Reyes controlling him for the moment. Guandalini looking to control.
Guandalini is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Guandalini keeping moving, preventing Reyes from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reyes wants to stand but Guandalini has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Reyes trying to control but Guandalini is working from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Guandalini instigates a clinch. Reyes is trying to break free. Guandalini jumps into guard, dragging Reyes to the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Guandalini is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Reyes pulls his head out easily. Reyes prevents Guandalini from improving his position. Guandalini actively working from the bottom here. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Reyes in particular looking to stall. Reyes scoring with strikes to the body and head. Reyes sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Guandalini defending well though. Reyes wants to take a breather but Guandalini is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Reyes throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Guandalini stuffs the takedown attempt from Reyes. Reyes gets slowly back to his feet. Guandalini shoots in looking for a takedown. Reyes tries to sprawl out of it but Guandalini keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Reyes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Reyes, as that shot connected.
Guandalini tries to close the distance and clinch but Reyes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Reyes swats away the attempt to clinch by Guandalini. Reyes dips to his left and cracks Guandalini with an uppercut! The fight moves into the clinch position. Reyes drops down looking for an ankle pick but Guandalini pulls his leg out and moves away.
Miguel Guandalini has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chucky Reyes. Guandalini throws a front kick that sends Reyes stumbling back into the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chucky Reyes dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Guandalini shoots in for a double leg but Reyes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Reyes clinches. Reyes fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Guandalini is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Reyes gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miguel Guandalini. That's going to take a lot out of him. Guandalini comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Reyes tries to score a body lock takedown but Guandalini shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Guandalini breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Guandalini changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Reyes tries to avoid it but Guandalini manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Reyes to the ground. Reyes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nice takedown defense from Reyes. No joy for Guandalini on that attempt. Guandalini is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Reyes throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reyes lands a nice hook to Guandalini's body. Guandalini takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Reyes drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Reyes staying calm. Reyes prevents Guandalini from escaping the position. Guandalini taking a bit of punishment here - Reyes scoring with strikes. Reyes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Guandalini keeps working. Reyes tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reyes misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Guandalini is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Guandalini is refusing to be controlled, as Reyes sits in half guard. Guandalini manages to escape and get back to his feet! Guandalini tries to clinch up but Reyes circles away and keeps his distance. Guandalini has his takedown stuffed and Reyes counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Guandalini! Reyes is landing with some decent strikes but Guandalini is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Reyes has hold of Guandalini's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Guandalini manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Reyes cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guandalini tries to lock up and control but Reyes gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Reyes looking to control and managing it successfully. Guandalini is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Reyes landing shots from mount. Reyes lands a heavy elbow. Reyes looking to control but Guandalini is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Guandalini working to try and regain half guard.

Guandalini is squirming around, avoiding Reyes's attempts to control the action. Guandalini tries to hold on but Reyes pushes him away. Guandalini tries to reverse the position but Reyes maintains control. Reyes controlling the pace for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chucky Reyes showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Guandalini is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Guandalini throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Guandalini keeping moving, preventing Reyes from controlling successfully. Guandalini utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Guandalini is trying to control the position but Reyes postures up. Reyes thows a big elbow that misses.

Can Guandalini avoid being mounted? Guandalini is looking for a sweep. Reyes is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Reyes perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Reyes stands up from half guard. Guandalini tries to clinch up. Guandalini throws a series of punches but Reyes avoids them all with ease. Miguel Guandalini seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reyes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Guandalini manages to avoid it. Guandalini doesn't manage to clinch there - Reyes circles away.
Reyes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Reyes postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guandalini striking off his back, scoring a few points. Guandalini had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Reyes is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Guandalini Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Reyes's back instead. Guandalini lands punches and elbows. Guandalini working for a choke but Reyes reverses nicely into Guandalini 's guard. Reyes not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Guandalini controls Reyes momentarily but Reyes frees himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reyes controlling from the top position. Guandalini throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Reyes is stalling in the full guard. Guandalini looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Reyes tries to free his leg and advance position but Guandalini is retaining full guard. Reyes trying to control the position from guard on top but Guandalini is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Guandalini shoots and misses and Reyes counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Reyes jumps guard but Guandalini stands there with Reyes around his waist. Reyes gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Chucky Reyes is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Guandalini wants to get back to striking at distance but Reyes won't allow it.
And that's the end of the fight! Chucky Reyes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Reyes winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
