The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Halliday.

It looks like Taco Stiffy has been cut.
Halliday fails to land with a series of punches.
Halliday lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Halliday tries to clinch up but Stiffy circles away and keeps his distance.

Halliday pushes Stiffy up against the cage in a clinch.
Halliday trying to control the position but instead, Stiffy has worked for underhooks and has pushed Halliday into the cage.
Stiffy misses with a hook to the ribs.

Halliday uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Stiffy has time to react.

Halliday lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stiffy circles away quickly and effectively.

Stiffy connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Halliday momentarily.

Stiffy throws a nice outside leg kick.

Halliday let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Halliday avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Halliday pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Halliday throws a right hand that Stiffy ducks under and follows up with a left that Stiffy also avoids with ease.

Stiffy fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Stiffy swats away the attempt to clinch by Halliday.
A little feinted left hand from Stiffy on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Halliday misses with a hook. Stiffy ducked under it nicely.
Stiffy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stiffy throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Halliday dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Stiffy takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Halliday clobbers Stiffy with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Stiffy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Halliday connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Stiffy is rocked!
Stiffy is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Oh Stiffy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Stiffy moves into range and clinches up with Halliday.
Stiffy throws a head punch that misses.
Halliday lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Halliday lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Halliday breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Halliday lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Stiffy up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Halliday from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Stiffy's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Mickey Halliday decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
