Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rafal Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mamed Chalidow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wallace's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sandaless - Wojownik. Chalidow has chosen Martin Garrix - Proxy as his entrance music. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rafal Wallace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mamed Chalidow! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallace gets a takedown into half guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Chalidow is looking to escape. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Chalidow wants to control but Wallace is keeping busy and won't allow it. Chalidow tries to kick Wallace off but Wallace keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Chalidow is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wallace pulls his head out easily. Wallace is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Wallace seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chalidow does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chalidow is looking for a sweep. Wallace is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Chalidow trying to hold on to Wallace's head to control him but Wallace postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace working over Chalidow with some ground and pound. Chalidow looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Chalidow is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wallace pulls his head out easily. Wallace is trying to control. Chalidow wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Chalidow looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Chalidow is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Chalidow looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Wallace wants to free his trapped foot but Chalidow is holding on for dear life with his legs. Wallace wants to take a breather but Chalidow is having none of it.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Wallace shoots in and bounces Chalidow off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Chalidow has his foot on Wallace's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wallace works his way back into a safe position though. Wallace slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Wallace scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Chalidow to see if he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chalidow regains half guard. Wallace is nestled in close to Chalidow, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Chalidow tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Wallace manages to move to mount!

The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Wallace manages to capitalize on a mistake by Chalidow to take his back! Chalidow trying to control but not successfully. Chalidow manages to reverse the position and now he's in Wallace's guard. Nice work there by Chalidow.

Rafal Wallace dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Chalidow is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wallace's half guard. Chalidow looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace is looking to control Chalidow's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wallace avoid being mounted? Chalidow wants to work for an arm triangle but Wallace is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Chalidow is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The fighters are battling for position here. Wallace manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Wallace is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Chalidow defends well. Wallace looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Chalidow trying to control but Wallace is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Wallace is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Chalidow changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wallace looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Wallace is being controlled here. Wallace is trying to control Chalidow's posture but Chalidow avoids it. Wallace sneaks back into half guard. Wallace is trying to maintain the position but Chalidow is very close to passing his half guard.

Mamed Chalidow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Wallace's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Chalidow feints and as Wallace raises his hands in defense, Chalidow changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Chalidow drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chalidow jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Chalidow thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Chalidow trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Wallace trying to keep a closed guard but Chalidow is proving a slippery customer.

Wallace drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chalidow is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Chalidow is looking for a sweep. Wallace is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Wallace trying to control from half guard but Chalidow is working away. Chalidow looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Chalidow takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wallace looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
And that's the end of the fight! Mamed Chalidow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Chalidow has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
