Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Teddy Deleon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Jacob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Teddy Deleon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Jacob! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jacob throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Jacob fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Deleon avoids it really well and circles away. Jacob throws a leg kick but Deleon moved away. Jacob shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. As Jacob tries to get set, Deleon tries to push him back and clinch up but Jacob manages to avoid the attempt. Jacob lands with a shot to the body. Jacob looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Teddy Deleon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Jacob. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Deleon swats away the attempt to clinch by Jacob. Deleon is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Jacob shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Deleon holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Deleon gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jacob.
Deleon goes for a takedown attempt but Jacob pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Deleon jumps guard but Jacob stands there with Deleon around his waist. Deleon gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Deleon tries to pull guard but Jacob holds him up against the cage and eventually Deleon drops back down to his feet.

Jacob shoots in looking for a takedown. Deleon tries to sprawl out of it but Jacob keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Deleon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jacob will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Deleon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jacob sprawls well initially but Deleon persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Deleon not landing any meaningful shots this time. Deleon wants to work for an arm triangle but Jacob is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Deleon thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jacob's head. Jacob keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Jacob gets back to full guard.
Deleon content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Deleon postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Deleon lands a couple of digs. Deleon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Jacob preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Jacob looking to sweep here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Deleon throws a strike but Jacob rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Jacob prevents Deleon from getting back to his feet. Jacob throws a big elbow that misses. Jacob trying to move into half guard but instead Deleon has managed to sweep! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Deleon with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Deleon working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jacob's head. Deleon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Deleon scoring with punches to the head and body. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Deleon postures up.

Good shot there by Jacob. Deleon tries to close the distance and clinch but Jacob swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Teddy Deleon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jacob throws a leg kick and Deleon moves into the clinch. Deleon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Deleon shoots in and bounces Jacob off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Deleon working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jacob's head. Deleon landing with the ground and pound. Jacob pushes Deleon off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Jacob goes for a double leg but Deleon avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Deleon continues to drive forward. Deleon wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Deleon shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Jacob wants to improve his position but Deleon is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Deleon tries to stand and escape but Jacob is controlling the position. Jacob wants to control but Deleon is keeping busy.
Deleon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jacob is just riding it out for now. Deleon eventually gives up the hold. Jacob has hold of Deleon's hands but Deleon slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Jacob fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Deleon throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jacob tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Deleon is in Jacob's guard. Deleon makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Deleon makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Jacob has a takedown stuffed.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jacob throws a low kick but Deleon moves out of range easily. Deleon tries to counter with a takedown but Jacob is quick to defend against it. Deleon slaps away a takedown attempt from Jacob, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jacob pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Deleon back to the cage. Jacob follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Jacob wants to slow Deleon down by chopping away at his legs. Deleon appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jacob lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

John Jacob has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Teddy Deleon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jacob misses with a body kick. As Jacob tries to get set, Deleon tries to push him back and clinch up but Jacob manages to avoid the attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to John Jacob. I think Deleon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
