Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Flavius Odoacer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Cross Furia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Odoacer comes into the arena with Entrance of the Gladiator blaring out of the sound system. Cross Furia has chosen Vivaldi's Winter as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Cross Furia.
Cross Furia scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Odoacer doesn't seem bothered though.
Odoacer swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Odoacer connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Cross Furia's hands.
It looks like Dante Cross Furia has been cut.
Cross Furia throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Cross Furia counters with a nice uppercut.
Odoacer drops his hands momentarily and Cross Furia takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Despite the aggression on Cross Furia's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Cross Furia throws a nice looking combination but Odoacer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Odoacer was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Odoacer throws out a loose jab but Cross Furia uses good head movement to avoid it.

Odoacer comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Cross Furia has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Odoacer finds it's way round the side to connect with Cross Furia's head.
Odoacer clobbers Cross Furia with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Cross Furia is rocked!
It looks like Odoacer has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Odoacer circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Cross Furia tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Odoacer wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Flavius Odoacer!
An out of breath Flavius Odoacer thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
