Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terrell Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Bannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Terrell Grant! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Thomas Bannon! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bannon takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Grant misses with a leg kick and Bannon counters with a nice uppercut. Grant looks to throw a body kick and Grant takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Grant throws a shot from downtown. Bannon moves away and avoids it. Grant needs to keep his hands up - Bannon had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Terrell Grant has been cut. Grant tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Grant closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Grant is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bannon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Grant tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Bannon prevents Grant from improving position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grant working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Bannon sneaks back into half guard. Bannon is holding on to half guard well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Grant looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Grant is looking for a kimura here.
Grant is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Grant is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bannon is just riding it out for now. Grant eventually gives up the hold. Bannon trying to control but Grant postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bannon is trying to control but Grant passes into side control!
Grant working away. Bannon is trying to get back to half guard. Bannon prevents Grant from moving into mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Grant working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Grant tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Grant is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bannon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Grant wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bannon, who protects the arm well. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bannon is looking for a sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Terrell Grant dominated that round. The cut man is working on Terrell Grant's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Grant misses with a hook to the body
and Bannon counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Grant shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bannon pinned against the cage. Bannon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Grant tries to work over Bannon's front leg with a kick but Bannon checks it. Bannon misses with a kick to the body.
Bannon pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Bannon walks into a straight right hand from Grant. Bannon keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bannon on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Oooooh!!! Bannon has knocked Grant down with a huge combo! Bannon steps away and waves a wobbly Grant back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Grant is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Good work by Bannon as he checks the leg kick. A head kick from Grant lands but Bannon takes it in his stride.
That's one minute gone in the round. A good leg kick by Grant. Bannon punishes Grant's body with a nice straight punch. Bannon blocks a head kick by Grant.
Terrell Grant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bannon misses with a leg kick. Grant misses with a combination
and Bannon counters with a slapping leg kick. Thomas Bannon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Grant looks to throw a body kick and Bannon counters with a nice low kick that buckles Grant's knee momentarily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bannon scores with a shot to the body.
Bannon swats away the attempt to clinch by Grant. Bannon doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Bannon looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grant tries to clinch but fails miserably and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Bannon has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Grant shoots and misses and Bannon counters with a good, hard body kick but Grant shrugs it off. Bannon lands a nice hook to Grant's body. Grant takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Grant stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bannon. We've been informed that Bannon has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. This has been an exciting period of action! Bannon lands a big head kick that sends Grant tumbling to the mat! Bannon takes a step backwards and waves Grant back to his feet - he wants the finish! Oh Grant is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Grant blocks a head kick by Bannon.
Grant takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Grant seems to have got his legs back now. Grant drops his hands momentarily and Bannon needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Grant just on the top of the head. Grant drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Grant - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Thomas Bannon!
