Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Pereira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Medium Hardon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Brian Pereira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Medium Hardon!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Pereira blocks the leg kick.
Pereira drops down looking for a counter takedown but Hardon sprawls and moves away.
Hardon misses with a takedown attempt - Pereira sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Pereira looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Medium Hardon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It seemed like Hardon was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hardon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Hardon throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pereira tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hardon is in Pereira's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Brian Pereira will probably get the nod.

Medium Hardon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
