Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Guadalupe Richardson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Country (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Country scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Richardson is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Country wants to hold on but Richardson pushes him away.
Country really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Richardson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Richardson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Country can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
