Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mustafa Shabazz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rama Udo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 1, fighting out of London, Mustafa Shabazz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rama Udo!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Udo missing with a left hand there. Shabazz was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Udo scores with a jab to the head.
Shabazz shoots in but no luck this time.
Udo scores with a body shot.
Udo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shabazz moves away.
Shabazz misses with a takedown attempt
and Udo counters with a nice uppercut.
Udo throws a leg kick but Shabazz moved away.
Udo lands with an overhand left.
Shabazz wants to clinch.
Shabazz fails with an attempt to clinch.
Shabazz goes for a double leg but Udo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Udo continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mustafa Shabazz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shabazz moves in looking to clinch but Udo pushes him off.
Shabazz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Udo avoids it really well and circles away.
Udo has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
Shabazz shoots in and drives through. Udo sprawls well.

Udo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Shabazz shoots in looking for a takedown but Udo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Shabazz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Shabazz scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Shabazz is trying to work for a kimura but Udo is defending well.
Udo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Udo moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Udo looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Shabazz has gone for a leg lock! Udo slips out almost immediately though and dives into Shabazz's guard.

Shabazz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Udo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Shabazz trying to control the position.
Shabazz utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Udo is pushing down on Shabazz's leg trying to pass to half guard. Shabazz is fighting to maintain full guard but Udo has managed to sneak the leg through.
Udo looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Udo not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Udo performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Shabazz is looking to improve his position.
Udo is thwarting Shabazz's attempts to control the position.
Udo trying to control from half guard but Shabazz is working away.
Udo might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Shabazz haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Udo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Shabazz seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Udo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Udo working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Shabazz's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rama Udo dominated that round.
That's time! Shabazz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Shabazz moves to clinch but Udo breaks away
and Udo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Udo throws a low kick, looking for Shabazz's leg but Shabazz calmly moves out of range.
Shabazz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Udo tries to avoid it but Shabazz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Udo to the ground. Udo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Udo avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Shabazz fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Udo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shabazz manages to avoid it.
Udo will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Udo tries to work over Shabazz's front leg with a kick but Shabazz checks it.
Udo changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Udo wants to slow Shabazz down by chopping away at his legs.
An inside leg kick from Udo misses.

Shabazz manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Udo on his heels. He'll look to pass Udo's guard now, I'm sure.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Udo holds on and takes a little breather.

Shabazz is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Udo is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Udo has escaped and now he's on top!

Udo makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Udo scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shabazz is looking for a triangle but Udo pushes his legs off easily.
Udo landing with the ground and pound.

Shabazz is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Udo is aware though and is defending well.

Shabazz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Udo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Shabazz has momentary wrist control but Udo slips an elbow through the middle.

Udo is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Shabazz has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Udo is looking to defend but Shabazz has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Udo! Shabazz pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Udo taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Mustafa Shabazz!
