Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ignazy Stawski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Riza Rakija!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stawski walks into a stiff left hand from Rakija.
Stawski showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rakija.
Rakija cracks Stawski with a good jab.
Stawski throws a leg kick but Rakija sees it coming and checks it nicely.
A combination from Rakija does no damage.
It looked like Stawski wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Stawski connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Rakija swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Stawski counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rakija thinking.
Stawski displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rakija throws out the jab.
The fighters circling - Stawski throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rakija jabs Stawski right on the nose. Stawski blinks but takes it well.

and Rakija counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rakija is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Stawski to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Stawski shrugs it off.

Rakija is trying to control the action in half guard but Stawski is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Stawski.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rakija cracks Stawski with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

and Stawski counters with a flying knee that drops Rakija! Stawski dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
