The crowd seem to be enjoying Mirluk's choice of entrance music: Guns N' Roses - Paradise City. Terry Mirluk acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Terry Mirluk!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mirluk scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Mirluk lands a nice hook to Dixon's body. Dixon takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Mirluk wants to clinch up but Dixon keeps it at a distance.

Mirluk throws a nice looking combination but Dixon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
It looked like Dixon wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Mirluk lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Mirluk is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Dixon has denied him.

Terry Mirluk dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Mirluk cracks Dixon with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

A very excited looking Jim Dixon made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
