Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Terry Mirluk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Yamato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mirluk's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Guns N' Roses - Paradise City. Terry Mirluk could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Hans Yamato's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Terry Mirluk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hans Yamato! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mirluk lands an overhand right. Yamato is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Mirluk. Mirluk connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Nice uppercut there from Mirluk. Mirluk dips to his left and cracks Yamato with an uppercut! Yamato with a lazy takedown attempt and Mirluk counters with a nice uppercut. Yamato tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mirluk defends well and Yamato ends up having to push Mirluk into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Mirluk throws a body punch but Yamato moves out of range. Mirluk wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Yamato. Terry Mirluk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hans Yamato. Mirluk fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Yamato looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Yamato shoots in for a takedown but Mirluk shows good takedown defense. Mirluk rushes Yamato and presses him up against the cage. Mirluk lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Yamato changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mirluk fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Yamato feints the counter takedown. Yamato doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Mirluk throws a body punch but Yamato moves out of range. Yamato changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Yamato shoots for a takedown but Mirluk saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Mirluk lands a nice shot to the body.

He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mirluk's half guard. Mirluk works his way to full guard. Good work. Mirluk is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Yamato with a flurry of punches that miss. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mirluk avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Yamato is on top in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mirluk is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Yamato stalling away here and it's allowed Mirluk to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Yamato accidentally thumps the mat.
