Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vladislav Volkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Van Kirkland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Kirkland has chosen DJ Vadim - The Terrorist as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Vladimir Van Kirkland was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Volkov throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
It seemed like Van Kirkland was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Van Kirkland is taking a breather. Volkov says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Volkov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Van Kirkland is working away from the top position though.
