Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Tripplet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomas Dalca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bruce Tripplet! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tomas Dalca! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dalca shoots in looking for a takedown. Tripplet tries to sprawl out of it but Dalca keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tripplet manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Tripplet tries to keep at a distance but Dalca has taken the fight into the clinch. Dalca misses with an elbow over the top. Dalca throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Tripplet lands a shoulder strike. Tripplet tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Tripplet wants to break free but Dalca has control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dalca wants to stall.
Dalca prevents Tripplet from breaking the clinch. Dalca tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Dalca working some nice short punches in the clinch. Tripplet is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tripplet pushes Dalca back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Dalca misses with a body punch.
Tripplet is trying to force a seperation but Dalca has the dominant position. Tripplet avoids a wild elbow strike from Dalca. Dalca breaks from the clinch.
Dalca looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Tripplet connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. A big left from Tripplet misses. Dalca tries to clinch up and Tripplet counters with a nice body shot. Dalca showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tripplet.
Tripplet is pawing at Dalca, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Dalca's nose. Dalca is badly hurt! Tripplet pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Dalca tries desperately to hold on but Tripplet is relentless in his assault! As Dalca receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Tripplet away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce Tripplet! During a confident post fight interview, Bruce Tripplet thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
