Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Santo Bruce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Well Clayinton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clayinton has chosen "Austrian Death Machine- Get To The Choppa" as his entrance music. Well Clayinton has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Santo Bruce!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Well Clayinton!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruce slaps away a takedown attempt from Clayinton, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bruce throws a head kick that half lands.
Clayinton shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bruce goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Clayinton takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Bruce's corner calls for a 1-2. Bruce obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bruce rushes Clayinton and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bruce lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Bruce really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Clayinton manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Clayinton looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Clayinton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Clayinton has control of Bruce's left arm, preventing Bruce from doing any damage.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Bruce drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Clayinton dives on top into guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Bruce knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Clayinton on the ground.

Clayinton drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Clayinton jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Bruce will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Clayinton chips away with some ground and pound.

Clayinton is working Bruce over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Clayinton thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Clayinton is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Bruce fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Clayinton, pushing him back against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Santo Bruce dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Santo Bruce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Well Clayinton.

Clayinton stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Clayinton wants it to stay on the feet.
And Clayinton tries to counter it with a takedown but Bruce pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Bruce is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Clayinton.
Horrible takedown attempt by Bruce or perhaps it was just good defense by Clayinton, which made it look bad.

Clayinton shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bruce sprawls well. Bruce wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Clayinton gets slowly back to his feet.

Bruce dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bruce looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Clayinton is fending him off so far but Bruce persists. Nope, Clayinton circles away and we're back to standing.

Clayinton had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bruce defends it easily.

Bruce throws an elbow that misses. Clayinton uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bruce's guard. Nice move by Clayinton!

Clayinton seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Santo Bruce dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bruce accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well Clayinton has got the better of the ground game so far.

Bruce moves into range and clinches up with Clayinton.

Clayinton ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Clayinton no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Clayinton is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Bruce postures up in Clayinton's guard and throws a big left but Clayinton blocks it.
