Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Boo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ferrell Berbick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bobby Boo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bobby Boo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ferrell Berbick!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Igor Prikhodko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Berbick lands an impressive looking overhand right. Boo doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Bobby Boo has been cut.
Berbick looks to land a combination. Boo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Boo feints and as Berbick raises his hands in defense, Boo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've been hearing that Boo has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Boo is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Boo wants to control from the top but Berbick keeps moving.
Boo throws a strike but Berbick rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Berbick slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Boo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Berbick defends well.

Berbick really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Boo is looking for a sweep.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Boo tries to buck Berbick off but Berbick is having none of it.

Boo is trying to control Berbick's posture but Berbick avoids it.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

You can see the frustration on Boo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Berbick defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Boo.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Berbick connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Boo shoots in and drives through. Berbick sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Boo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boo has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Berbick lands a nice shot that snaps Boo's head back.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Berbick is looking to clinch but Boo is avoiding it.
Berbick lands a jab to the head.
Berbick misses with a double jab.
A punch lands to the side of Boo 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Boo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Berbick swivels and escapes.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Berbick! But no joy.
Berbick scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Berbick moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Berbick jabs Boo to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Boo misses with a body shot.
Boo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Berbick defends well and Boo ends up having to push Berbick into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Boo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Berbick's head.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Berbick. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Bobby Boo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Boo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Berbick manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Boo has Berbick in his guard.

Boo looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Berbick is defending well. Boo quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Berbick has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Boo celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
