Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Demitrious Dalby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cheng Ki Won (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dalby comes to the cage accompanied by TOM PETTY - I WON'T BACK DOWN. Cheng Ki Won has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Demitrious Dalby! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Cheng Ki Won! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Ki Won misses. Ki Won shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dalby as he jumps to the side. Ki Won scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Ki Won misses with the ground and pound. Ki Won misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Dalby wants to get back to his feet. Ki Won with the ground and pound but Dalby regains half guard under the barage of strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ki Won stops Dalby from getting back to his feet.

Ki Won is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Ki Won lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Dalby is trying to stand back up but Ki Won is controlling him
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ki Won lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Dalby blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ki Won. Ki Won throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Dalby to regain full guard. Ki Won postures up in Dalby's guard and throws a big left but Dalby blocks it. Ki Won won't allow Dalby to get back to his feet. Dalby utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ki Won with a flurry of punches that miss. Ki Won postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dalby is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ki Won, into his guard.
Ki Won is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dalby is aware though and is defending well. Ki Won has his foot on Dalby's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dalby works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dalby would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Ki Won is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dalby is aware though and is defending well. Ki Won looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Ki Won changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dalby tries to avoid it but Ki Won manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dalby to the ground. Dalby escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ki Won closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dalby circles away. Demitrious Dalby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cheng Ki Won. Dalby clinches with his opponent.

Dalby misses the shot to the body. The fight stays on the outside here - Dalby looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Dalby wants to clinch. And Ki Won tries to counter it with a takedown but Dalby pushes his down on his head and steps out. Ki Won fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dalby avoids it really well and circles away. Dalby defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ki Won. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ki Won misses with a few strikes there.
Ki Won shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ki Won was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Dalby is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ki Won has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dalby trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Ki Won throws an elbow but Dalby slips to the side and avoids it well. Dalby is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Ki Won lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Dalby taking a bit of punishment here - Ki Won scoring with strikes. Ki Won misses with an attempted head punch from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dalby is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ki Won has just dragged him back down to the mat. Ki Won working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Dalby pushes Ki Won away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ki Won gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Ki Won scores with punches from side control.

Dalby is rocked! Ki Won working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Ki Won throwing strikes but Dalby manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ki Won tries to get back to half guard but can't. Dalby tries to stand but Ki Won is controlling his head. Ki Won is trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dalby wants to stand but Ki Won has his arm trapped. Ki Won is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Ki Won is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ki Won trying to get back to full guard but Dalby takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Ki Won is in all sorts of trouble here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ki Won can do anything to dispel that myth. Ki Won slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Ki Won is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Dalby jumps into side control! Ki Won tries to bench press Dalby off him but Dalby keeps the position. Dalby tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dalby stands up and we're back to a striking position. Dalby tries to clinch up. Ki Won goes for a double leg but Dalby avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dalby continues to drive forward. Demitrious Dalby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cheng Ki Won. Dalby is looking to clinch. Ki Won let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Dalby wants to clinch up but Ki Won keeps it at a distance. Ki Won clinches up with Dalby and pushes him back against the cage. Dalby crunches a lovely knee into Ki Won's ribcage. Ki Won is breathing heavily. Ki Won jumps guard.
Ki Won working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dalby doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dalby manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dalby wants to get up but he can't break Ki Won's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cheng Ki Won showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Dalby's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
