The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean lands with a cross.
Marr looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Marr landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Marr throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dean is trying to control but can't.
Dean tries to roll over but Marr keeps him under control.

Dean tries to kick Marr off but Marr keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Marr looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Dean keeps Marr at a distance using the push kick.
Dean connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Dean scores with a nice body kick.
Marr circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dean connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Marr drops Dean with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Dean! Marr dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
