The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romonov swinging wilding here.
Romonov fails with an attempt to clinch.
Romonov tries for a takedown but Schalk sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Schalk tries to clinch there but Romonov circles away.
Schalk fails with an attempt to clinch.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Schalk.
Schalk doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Romonov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Travis Schalk has been cut.
Schalk seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Romonov shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Schalk is backing up but Romonov catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Schalk covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Romonov Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
