Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JR Bosworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). JR Bosworth will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Hernandez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, JR Bosworth! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Kavanagh and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bosworth scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Michael Hernandez has been cut. Bosworth misses with a two punch combination.
Hernandez looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Bosworth! A lull in the action here as Hernandez stalls from top position. Bosworth manages to get back to half guard. Hernandez sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bosworth defending well though. Hernandez throwing shots but Bosworth is blocking nicely. Hernandez seems to be working for a kimura but Bosworth defends the submission attempt. Hernandez working over Bosworth with some ground and pound. Bosworth looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hernandez sitting and controlling from the half guard. Bosworth won't allow Hernandez to pass to mount. Hernandez lands strikes from half guard. Hernandez controlling the action here. Hernandez is trying to control the action in half guard but Bosworth is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hernandez is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hernandez looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Hernandez missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Hernandez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bosworth circles away. A little jabbing left from Bosworth on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Hernandez displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bosworth throws out the jab. As Bosworth looks to move away, Hernandez throws a big counter combo bu Bosworth just gets out of the way.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hernandez dives in for a single leg takedown but Bosworth sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. A nice side step and Bosworth releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Hernandez keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bosworth. Hernandez with a poor takedown and Bosworth counters with a nice uppercut. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Hernandez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hernandez swings for the body but Bosworth moves out of range.
Bosworth gets a clinch. Bosworth lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hernandez backwards. Bosworth avoiding damage.
Hernandez is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bosworth pulls him back up using the underhooks. Hernandez is breathing heavily. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Bosworth content to slow the pace in the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hernandez is trying to pull guard but Bosworth turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Bosworth manages to break the clinch.
Bosworth scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Hernandez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bosworth tries to avoid it but Hernandez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bosworth to the ground. Bosworth escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bosworth lands a left and a right that send Hernandez crashing to the mat, dazed. Bosworth thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hernandez is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bosworth lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Hernandez falls backwards - clearly groggy! Bosworth dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). JR Bosworth!
