The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metharom stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Metharom wants it to stay on the feet.
Taylor closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Taylor landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Metharom is looking for a sweep. Taylor is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
