Hadzhimuradov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lezginka kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bek Ali Hadzhimuradov! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hadzhimuradov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kharinov looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Hadzhimuradov closes the distance and clinches. Kharinov tries to pull guard but Hadzhimuradov holds him up against the cage and eventually Kharinov drops back down to his feet.
Hadzhimuradov can't break the clinch.
Kharinov prevents Hadzhimuradov from breaking the clinch. Kharinov has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hadzhimuradov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Hadzhimuradov has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Kharinov regains guard immediately. Hadzhimuradov passes into half guard. Hadzhimuradov tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kharinov knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Hadzhimuradov passes to full mount! Hadzhimuradov is in the full mount, landing strikes. Hadzhimuradov working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Kharinov turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Hadzhimuradov off and cradles Kharinov's limp body as Hadzhimuradov celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Bek Ali Hadzhimuradov!
