Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Will Boulks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Jabber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 16 - 1, fighting out of London, Will Boulks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jim Jabber!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Jabber misses.

Jabber throws an overhand right that lands on Boulks's shoulder, as Boulks tries to avoid the shot.
Boulks tries to counter with a takedown but Jabber is quick to defend against it.

Jabber closes the distance and clinches.
Boulks on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Jabber escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jabber pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Boulks has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've been hearing that Boulks has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boulks accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jabber is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jabber is looking to stand up but Boulks isn't so interested in that idea.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Boulks loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Boulks connects with a couple of short punches.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boulks accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Boulks working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jabber's head.
Jabber has control of Boulks's left arm, preventing Boulks from doing any damage.
Boulks landing with the ground and pound.
Jabber bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Boulks's guard.


Boulks is looking for a triangle here but Jabber uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

I think Jabber has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A relieved looking Jim Jabber thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
