Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paicci throws a leg kick that misses.
Paicci throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Perkins shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Paicci manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Paicci working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Perkins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Perkins manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Perkins passes easily into side control. Nice work.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Paicci can do anything to dispel that myth.
Perkins connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Paicci some visible discomfort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Perkins controls the position.
Paicci is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Perkins's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Perkins! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Paicci has tapped! This one is allllll over!
