Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Donato Bilancia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Misiek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Misiek has chosen El Picante as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bilancia doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Misiek has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bilancia is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Rafael Misiek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bilancia throws a sloppy head kick and Misiek moves out of range easily.

A nice leg kick lands there from Misiek.

A slapping leg kick lands for Misiek.
Misiek tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Misiek feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bilancia tries to score a power double leg takedown but Misiek sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bilancia somewhat.

Misiek scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bilancia doesn't seem bothered though.

Misiek gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Bilancia throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bilancia takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Bilancia looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Misiek is fending him off so far but Bilancia persists. Nope, Misiek circles away and we're back to standing.

Bilancia shoots for a double leg takedown but Misiek sprawls well. He's pushed Bilancia's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bilancia chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Misiek can pounce on him.
Bilancia sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Bilancia ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bilancia looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Misiek scores with a head kick. Bilancia tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

and Misiek counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Bilancia! He's just covering up as Misiek starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
