Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Blye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sigurd Ragnarsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ragnarsson has chosen The Animal as his entrance music. Sigurd Ragnarsson has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lucas Blye! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sigurd Ragnarsson! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Joseph Jones and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blye will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ragnarsson misses with a hook. Blye takes a body punch but keeps moving. Ragnarsson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Ragnarsson is working for a submission of some sort.
Blye is refusing to be controlled, as Ragnarsson sits in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ragnarsson is figuring out what he wants to do next. Blye trying to control here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ragnarsson trying to control from half guard but Blye is working away. Blye is pressing down on Ragnarsson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blye seems keen to control Ragnarsson's posture. Ragnarsson trying to control but Blye is working from the bottom. Ragnarsson won't allow Blye to sweep him here. Blye being controlled here, momentarily. Ragnarsson tries to free his leg and advance position but Blye is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Blye wants to sweep here but Ragnarsson controlling him for the moment. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Ragnarsson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Blye tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ragnarsson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Blye looks to score with a jab to the body but Ragnarsson is just out of range. A head kick misses from Blye. Ragnarsson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Ragnarsson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. It looked like Blye wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Ragnarsson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Blye. And Ragnarsson tries to counter it with a takedown but Blye pushes his down on his head and steps out. Ragnarsson pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Blye drops his hands momentarily and Ragnarsson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blye shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ragnarsson is trying to defend but Blye finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Blye is thwarting Ragnarsson's attempts to control the position. Blye winds up and cracks Ragnarsson with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Blye not landing any meaningful shots this time. Blye sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ragnarsson defending well though. Blye trying to control from half guard but Ragnarsson is working away. Ragnarsson wants to improve his position but Blye is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blye thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ragnarsson's head. Blye landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Ragnarsson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Blye lands a nice short elbow. Ragnarsson tries to roll over but Blye keeps him under control. Ragnarsson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Blye. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Blye lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Blye seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ragnarsson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Blye throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lucas Blye dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Blye moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Blye keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ragnarsson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ragnarsson with the counter takedown but Blye avoids it easily. Blye misses the shot to the body. Ragnarsson is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Ragnarsson misses the shot to the body. Blye pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Ragnarsson stuns Blye with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Blye shoots for a double leg takedown but Ragnarsson sprawls well. He's pushed Blye's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Ragnarsson changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ragnarsson blocks a low kick nicely. Ragnarsson throws out a powerful jab. Ragnarsson jabs Blye to the body, keeping him at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ragnarsson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Ragnarsson is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Blye rather than just go for the knockout. Blye fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ragnarsson is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Blye takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Ragnarsson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Blye. Blye lands an overhand right. Ragnarsson shoots in and drives through. Blye sprawls well. Ragnarsson scores with a jab to the head.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Blye, as that shot connected.
Ragnarsson misses with a takedown attempt and Blye counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blye tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ragnarsson swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucas Blye. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ragnarsson swings widly with a right hand
and Blye counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Blye shoots in but no luck this time. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ragnarsson scores with a jab to the body. Blye takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Horrible takedown attempt by Ragnarsson or perhaps it was just good defense by Blye, which made it look bad. A big right from Ragnarsson misses. Blye shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ragnarsson but Ragnarsson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ragnarsson drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Blye defends it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blye throws a hook but Ragnarsson blocks it. Ragnarsson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Blye throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ragnarsson was covering up waiting for the punch and Blye finishes the takedown easily into guard. Blye looking to sit in guard and control but Ragnarsson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Ragnarsson trying to control the position from guard on top but Blye is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Blye has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Blye escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ragnarsson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Blye looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ragnarsson is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blye is working hard here to advance position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ragnarsson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ragnarsson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Blye keeping full guard, as Ragnarsson tries to pass. Blye had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ragnarsson defends it easily. Blye is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Lucas Blye will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Blye escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Blye lands a jab. Blye connects with a jab. Blye takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Lucas Blye is winning the standup battle so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blye with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ragnarsson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Blye takes a body punch but keeps moving. Ragnarsson dives in and scores a takedown into Blye's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ragnarsson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Blye has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Ragnarsson is looking to defend but Blye has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Ragnarsson! Blye pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Ragnarsson taps out and this one is all over!
